Joshua
Not knowing about Autism then, Joshua got interventions as all neurotypical children do, for the initial years. However, the behaviours, the language and social challenges started emerging. Being concerned about him, the mother sought help and Joshua was enrolled in Bubbles.
In school, he is non-speaking but ever so ready to communicate and help. He loves to converse with anyone at any time, especially through Avaz. His work skills have improved significantly. He enjoys helping his teachers and friends. Constantly looking out for others, he busts the myth that autistic individuals lack empathy.

Project Udaan started in 2020, with support from ANZ Bank. The goal of the project was to use Digital Training as a tool to support academic learning and vocational training for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities in students above 10 years, enrolled at the school program of BGCT. We started with 5 children in the online mode. The results were very encouraging. We saw that the classes enhanced communication as well along with the academic learning and digital literacy.
