Biswa Gouri Charitable Trust (BGCT) founded in 2009 was result of founder Sarbani Mallick’s journey to understand Autism and Intellectual Disabilities (ID) and create a valued lives for such neuro-diverse population. A humble beginning with Bubbles Centre for Autism has traversed a journey from a school to vocational center to workstations for persons with disabilities (PWD). BGCT has also reached out to rural areas where such facilities are non-existent.

Canadian International School is proud to continue their working relationship with Bubbles Centre for Autism. For the past several years students from both schools have been using theatre and art to connect with one another. CIS aspires to be a model of an inclusive community concerning all kinds of diversity, including neuro-diversity. The opportunity to work closely with students from Bubbles not only has helped us develop some cherished friendships, but has also been an educational experience for our students to learn with and about neuro-diverse individuals, relationship with Bubbles Centre for Autism. We have been in partnership with Bubbles Centre for Autism for close to two years now. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility mission at the bank, we largely support Scholarships, Livelihood and Entrepreneurship Development programs for various vulnerable groups across India. We have partnered with Bubbles on – Scholarships for children from poor socio-economic back-grounds to pursue their early intervention, Theatre program, Life skills program and Advocacy program using Films. Beyond funding, we have been able to provide opportunities for our employees to engage and volunteer with Bubbles and actively participate in the ‘Buddy Program’.
