Pragati Towards Livelihood

Pragati Towards Livelihood is a vocational skill training center for neurodivergent young adults aged 15 and above.

Established in July 2017, Pragati follows a Person-Centered Approach, providing training in Creative Arts, Horticulture, Digital Literacy, Independent Living Skills, and Employability for young adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Rooted in structured processes, Pragati focuses on building participants’ strengths, helping them develop self-advocacy, follow processes, and acquire job-readiness skills. The center offers a simulated work environment where participants gain practical skills to transition into:

  • Inclusive organizations

  • Self-employment with support from family and peers

  • Assisted social enterprises alongside other adults with Autism, with guidance from a support group

Pragati Towards Livelihood continues to support its participants even after they transition to their respective workplace roles, offering opportunities for upskilling, reskilling, and ongoing coping support.
